A Spooling Water Catastrophe to Throttle the Bangalore Real Estate Market

With many other blockades and challenges to overcome, the real estate is likely to be devastated due to severe water crisis. Bangalore City called as the IT Capital and Silicon City of the country is rated as the rapidly growing metro city, which will become a victim of water crisis in the future in the current situation continues to remain the same.

According to a recent assessment of BWSSB, the demand for water in a single day measures about 840 million liters whereas the availability of water for supply is just 135 million liters in a day.The estimation shows a huge difference between the demand and supply, which frighteningly mounting.

The chief crucial factor to make sure that everyone gets water is through effective controlling and management of available water supply with zero wastage. One of the researches also revealed that only 40 per cent of waste-water goes to treatment plants and the remaining 60 per cent goes to storm water drain that contaminates groundwater and lakes. With efficient water management at least 250 million liters of water could be saved every day.

The scarcity of water is outwardly taking the Bangalore real estate market on a toss to prove this the groundwater level has severely dropped in and around Bangalore International Airport (BIA) and the reason for the drop is undeniable real estate boom in the locality.
