East Bangalore Gains More Importance From High End Homes

In the mid of 1990s when the road was faraway Whitefield was improved, and there was a gossip that a delegation visited the site and are coming up with ITPL and agreed to place the tech park within the location providing the road infrastructure was upgraded to cut back period from the Vidhana Soudha to ITPL, to ten minutes. From then on, there has been attention to upgrade civic infrastructure within the east – the widening of many key roads, the completion of the Outer Ring Road and current works to boost property through the Old Madras Road on towards Hoskote – attributable to the presence of necessary economic hubs within the vincity. Over the years this has turned Bangalore East in to a desired residential property hotspot.

In the earlier days connectivity to Garden City of India, Bangalore was through Old Madras Road and Old Airport Road. The Outer Ring Road has eased the convenience to Whitefield. The Metro Rail from MG Road to Byappanahali to Whitefield is the main infrastructure project which provides connectivity and there would be residential growth.

There is high volume of proposed and ongoing high rise residential apartments in north east area, while there is already developed high volume of occupied high rise apartments with servicing many tech parks in the south east. There are still many developing areas like Sarjapur, Hosur and with many developing belts such as Anekal, Chandapura, Attibele etc.

Many of the IT parks are located in south east stretch of Outer Ring Road.  The IT parks in south east area are under development with one main business park.

According to one of the executive directors Domlur, Indiranagar and Yemlur are the most desired high end location as they are formed neighborhoods in closeness to the CBD. Brookfield and Varthur road is the preferred location for high end projects with the nearness to EPIP zone. IT/ITES and BFSI sectors are the main industries which are expecting more demands in this area.

The large number of high value homes is situated in the developed areas of tech parks.
